Calix subscriber survey results are in!

Why sell speed when your customers want (and will pay for) amazing services?

In the rapidly evolving broadband landscape, broadband service providers (BSPs) are at different stages of transformation. But no matter where you are, one thing is clear: Successful BSPs that stand out from the competition deliver differentiated experiences. And subscribers agree. In a recent Calix survey of 1,000 residential subscribers, the answer was clear: Your customers are willing to pay more for services that add real value to their lives.    
 

In this forthcoming survey, you will learn what different subscriber segments want and need from their BSP, along with insights into how these desires indicate a willingness to pay more for managed services.  


In particular, the survey revealed the following insights about the needs and wants of different subscriber segments:   

  1. Community Wi-Fi is a Winner: 57 percent of subscribers are likely to use it, 62 percent are willing to pay for it, and 68 percent consider it essential for first responders.  

  2. Parental Controls Are a Must: 53 percent of subscribers state that parental controls are an important facet of their internet subscription. 

  3. Working from home is a key differentiator: 58 percent of subscribers state they prioritize work-from-home productivity tools as part of their service.  

  4. More than half (58 percent) of subscribers are willing to pay more to help their BSP invest in community connectivity.
